Ubuntu Wants to Replace Menus with a HUD →

A new User interface has arrived (albeit inspired by Android 4.0′s top google bar and Apples spotlight). Add siri to this and you have a real scificomputer, no?

The HUD concept allows users to simply say what they want to do and then do it. Thanks to fuzzy matching and its ability to learn and then prioritize commands you regularly use, this approach should give advanced users an advantage over the menu system.

    I hope that the possibility will be included to stick to the old-fashioned menu’s.
