Separate Social Media From Marketing

Social media has enabled business leaders to think differently about how they engage and interact with both customers and employees. But just because you’ve opened the door doesn’t mean you’ve crossed the threshold into a new way of working, managing, and leading.

In every workshop or lecture I give, I repeat this same mantra over and over again. Social media is not about technology, not about facebook or twitter, it is about attitude.
